:confused:I have a Mk3 Golf with a G60 engine conversion.
I have 2 problems - firstly there is a 'wowing' noise from the engine under load (it can be heard / felt as like a pulsing of air pressue).
Secondly, the car mists up badly in poor weather - the heater matrix went not long after I got the car and a new one was fitted. Now there is a slight smell of exhaust/engine as well as the misting problem.
The car is currently running 210+bhp with a rebuilt charger, uprated pully/chip/belt etc and is fitted with larger uprated brakes front & rear, adjustable coilovers allround, poly bushes all round and new front & rear anti-roll bars.
I would appreciate any advice on the misting and noise problems (other tha 'swap the engine for a 1.8 turbo...!!!!)
