Identifing my 1.4 in 1998 golf joker

In all the manuals downloaded for this car not one shows the actual engine I have. I did find the same one in a 1994 Polo but its in Russian so other than seeing the same one its of little use. Can someone tell me where to find the code on this 1.4 or direct me to pictures of various 1.4s?

I believe someone replaced the motor for a few different reasons, #1 is the radiator fan plastic mounts/shroud have all been broken and repaired #2 the motor has a yellow pen marking (used by mosty junkyards) on the valve cover saying "1997 1.4" #3 when I called 2 parts store here in Iceland they ask for the License plate number to identify the car and when I asked about a cap & rotor theres some confusion. Everything here is very expensive and the return policy is there is no return policy/ find some vasoline

I did now notice in a manual I downloaded the motor looks identical to a 1994 polo 1.0L and the power made by it would not be hard to believe its a 1.0L. I'll try to upload a picture

Heres a new post in polo with the same set up, I can't see any turbo's on mine or this one but it is the same block/timing/distributer set-up
