New A6 BE order question

Guys need some advice, placed an order on the 3rd for a new A6 BE i had been told car being built on 15 May this has now been brought forward to 24 April, i had asked the dealer yesterday if i could add the parking pack to my order but told that it is too late and the order is locked.
is there any way of getting them to add this on? i did think it was a little early to lock the order

Unfortunately this is normal, the wring harness have to be made to the options that have been selected, then sub assemblies have to be built like the dash, drivetrain etc. Once the car goes into production it only takes about 7 hours to assemble once the body has been through paint.
