Hi everyone - My A7 2WD ultra S tronic is due its 38K service with the addition of the gearbox oil and filter being changed.

Contacted by local audi dealer for a quote and they cam back with a cost of £925.

Can anyone who has had theirs in for this service comment on what they may have been quoted and actually paid?

Thanks

Jesus! I think my major service was £250 and wife has just been quoted £131.94 for the gearbox oil. This was through a local Indy. Will never use audi again, they are cowboy, rip off, robbing chimps.

local audi dealer over here charges 270 euro fixed price servicing for the gearbox oil. thats only for the main gearbox oil 7 liters, there is also the transfer case oil and rear differential oil. I got all mine done last week. I Bought genuine oil from the main dealer and got a local independent Audi garage to do the work about 3 hours labour

My 38k service was just over £400 but the bitdi doesn't need the gearbox oil changed. The service was all filters including the fuel filter, oil change and inspection. You haven't said how old it is. The brake fluid is due at 3 years but if your car is that age, you would be eligible for fixed price servicing.

Had 38k full service done 3weeks ago - non audi dealership. S. Tronic gearbox done, all filters, oil etc. About £450. Happy with service.

It can depend how old your car is. My Q5 with 3.0 tdi was quoted a few weeks ago at about £1000 including brakefluid. But I was told that if the car went over 3 years old then about £600. Both form the same audi dealer.

I decided to do it all myself for £200 in parts. Sorry to show off!

Be glad you don't have to service your car in Norway; I paid £1431 for a full service (A7 3.0 TDI 2011).

Wow that's ridiculous. ..be why I have emails from dealerships in Norway with job offers. I'm tempted. Shorter working week and £8000 more a year.

I would expect a nice happy ending paying that much for a normal service :)
