A4 2.0 tdi 170 remap recommendation / experiance

Hi,

Newbie looking for some advice on a remap for my car.

2007 Audi A4 Avant S-Line 2.0 TDI 170 BHP

Does anyone know of a reputable place to get a decent remap in and around Maidenhead, Berkshire?

Has anyone had theirs done? Worth it on the BHP / MPG?

Hi there,

I own the 2.0 TDI 140 BHP Jetta and I had it remapped to 195BHP, I noticed my average MPG increased roughly 15MPG, plus the car felt much lighter and nippier.
Although I don't own the 170BHP version, I would highly recommend a remap. I would say however, my remap wasn't a general off the shelf map that was just downloaded to the ECU - mines was done on a rolling road and tailored specifically to my car. If you are going for a remap, I strongly suggest you go to someone who can provide that service for you too.
