:approve: I've had my VW Golf GTI (150bhp) 2000 for 2 years now.

I've joined the forum as want to fit a VW cd changer in the boot and was wondering if anyone had an advice how easy or difficult it might be. I'm not sure if theres a cable running from the front to the back already as I don't know what i'm looking for?

Hello. There isn't usually a cable. Is the head unit still the original VW Gamma unit?

The head unit is the original VW Gamma unit and I have the VW single CD player as well. But I understand that in addition to the single CD player I can have the CD mulichanger in the boot. I'm not sure where it would go though? I think its the first aid compartment!! :confused:

The cable and autochanger are available thorough VW and I imagine most ICE shops could sort it. The changer does go in the left compartment in the boot.
