Can second IVC in Leeds.

Managed to solve an intermittent problem on my car that 3 dealers and 2 other indis couldn't!

Also do a shuttle bus service into Leeds city centre if needed.

Can you PM me your chassis number and I will see if just changing the light units will do the job.

Crasher... Thanks for looking into this for me...

My chassis # is: WAUDG74F55Nxxxxxx

Over a month ago they tried to put yellow bulbs in the U.S. light cluster that came with the car --- it didnt work. Since then they've tried both the Euro tailight cluster and the UK cluster version, still no luck. The dealership cant understand why neither works. I’m really getting desperate --- as I cant drive the car until I get these damn red LEDs to flash yellow. HELP!! :aargh4:

Can you PM me the full chassis number but I think I may run into the same wall they have. There must be a way around this though.

Roger Holmes in York is bloody good. I went to school with his son. Roger has owned his own vw/audi business for as long as i remember and i'm 25! Really knows his stuff.

IVC in Leeds, good people.

Avoid IVC.

I took my car there as I wanted a nice simple job doing. I wanted them to take the bumper and grill off (Audi S3) and swap the grill badge for a black one that I had previously had painted. I specifically told them I wanted to pay for whatever labour it took to do it so that there was no chance of damaging the grill. They guy immediately went outside and tried to lever it off with a screwdriver! That left me with 2 nice gouges out of the grill. The car was only registered 2 hours earlier, I couldn't believe it!

Safe to say I'll never go there again.

Id forgotten about this thread. Had a problem with my sisters polo a few weeks ago, changed the brake light switch 3 times, still had the same problem. Took it in to IVC, they have had it for the past 3 weeks now, apparently the bracket for the switch needed replacing but everytime they tried it, it broke. They called 2 weeks ago saying they need to removed pretty much all the dash, steering column etc, then take out everything and fit the bracket that way. Gonna be an expensive job!

The badge incident is stupid and not like them at all, the brake light switch problem doesn’t make sense, it is just that the brake light switches are a crap design and you have to be very careful fitting them and they must be done in a specific way. I have never had to change a pedal box on a Polo for that, only for clutch pivot breakage.
