Hi,

I'm a little unnerved about my A4, in stationary traffic I can smell biodiesel. Not when we're moving though.

I've recently done the following:
oil and oil filter change.
fuel filter change (twice)
air filter change
pollen filter change
and changed fuel to BioDiesel.

The smell is only whilst in stationary traffic, and only faint, but is enough to make me concerned about exhaust fumes.

Is this a common problem? and ideas how to fix it?

Can we add a new smiley of one getting carbon monoxide / fumes poisoning?

Cheers,

-Andy.

It's only when I drive really slowly and seems independant of the airc circulating fan.

I did have my cetral console out recently too, do you think that has something to do with it?

Its perfectly normal. Dont worry about it, its just cos it smells so strong compared to burning diesel. Completely normal! :biglaugh:
