Service price

Does anyone know what price I should pay to service my 2.0l tdi A3 it will be its second service from new, Audi have quoted me £320 yet my wife's 2.0l tdi golf was only £199 for its second service from new.

Depends on mileage. Your wife may have got a fixed price from VW. Get more quotes and audi will also price match if you can get a quote from a garage nearby. Also, do you have a sunroof? They get serviced every 2 years I believe.

Thanks for the reply Scott K. The car is only 18 month old with 12,000 miles on the clock it was first serviced at 6,000 miles when it was 6 months old, then Audi took it off its demo list, then I bought it. I just think £320 is a lot to pay for an interval service, it's only an oil and filer change with a pollen filter fitted you can't go on a fixed price service until the car is over 3 year old, it has no sun roof.

I would go back and check what the service is. If it was serviced 12 months ago it shouldn't be due yet unless they forgot to reset the service indicator or it is on fixed service interval.
