Drivers door not right, not the pins.

96 mk3 Golf 5 door, its when you close/open it, there's a kind of "step down" just when its opened, y'know like worn pin's/hinge's, but I "lifted" the door and there's no movement, there fine.

Anyone know what else it might be??...thanks.

I have the same problem - any chance you can post of if you managed to rectify please?

I didn't. I just live with it. Love to know the best solution though.
