Audio Upgrade

Hi all, newbie here, after many weeks searching for a new car I decided to keep my beloved, question is I want to upgrade the audio keep the head unit mind, does anyone know where the speakers connect to i.e. The head unit ? As I want to use for signal to amp then onto new speakers

any help appreciated
