Module 5F information electric "Compass Menu"

Having a look at the module 5f and noticed one of the options that could be checked is "Compass menu"

this is was unchecked , so I "Checked it" - the module accepted the coding change , I reset MMI

The "compass menu" hasn't appeared any where within MMI - do I need make a change in the Green Menu to enable "compass menu"

I think, the compass is for the internal mirror compass (the LED letters for the direction), if your car is equipped with it. Normally you can see the compass on the DIS, when you don't select any address.
