Rear window demister not efficient

Hi,
I takes ages for the rear windscreen heater to get rid of the mist completely in my A7.
About 15 min!
My previous car was able to hadle it within 2 minutes.
Any suggestions?Can I increase heating power somehow?

I use one of these in each of our cars. It will absorb quite a bit initially but after it's settled down you will barely need to microwave it. I've had it in for 3 years now and am usually on the way instantly.

The other thing I do is switch on the air con until it clears.
