My dad has just bought a brand new Toledo in Style Advanced spec. One thing that the 2016 and 2017 brochures (the latter obtained off the web) indicate is that the model comes with the KESSY keyless open and ignition system. However after he picked up the car from the dealer and I had a go, I noticed that it had a conventional key system. Spoke to the dealer today who said to speak to Seat UK. As far as I am concerned this is a violation of the Consumer Rights Act as the car is not as advertised but where does the responsibility lie? Has anyone else experienced this and what did you do about it? Has Seat changed the spec on its cars but not updated the brochures (though the Seat dealer hadn't received any notification for this)? Any help/info appreciated.

What's the 10th character in the VIN? Sometimes the brochure does state that equipment listed sometimes isn't specifically for U.K. cars.
