Hi

Anyone know what new is coming for the passat 2017 models..?
Planning to order soon, but I was wondering is there something I should know before, because if I order in november/december, then I would get a car probably first quarter of 2017, that means this would be 2017 model with all the features/facelifts of 2017 model, am I right..?
I know that there is coming more powerful petrol engine option, but basically I am intersted only diesel models. So what's new coming..?

I'd prefer something like this: Passat B8, 2.0TDI, 110kw, DSG-6, saloon, Tungsten, R-line (exterior & interior).

Thank you.

Raul

They only updated to the 2016 model this year around April so it's unlikely anything will change now until the new model, this was quite a spec change for the R which added the active info display and sunroof as standard.

So, sunroof and active info display should be in r-line package by default..?
That's weird, because in Estonia, the catalog has no such thing mentioned in r-line (exterior & interior) package.

Different markets have different specs, and pricing differs accordingly. If you go to the UK VW Passat configurator Passat Configurator : Volkswagen UK (http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/new/passat-viii/configure/model/2042/2061) you'll see on the extras / what comes as standard page what you get. I'm talking in my posts about the UK spec models.

Yeah, thank's for clearing that out. In Estonia we have something like in Germany: Volkswagen Konfigurator - jetzt Wunschmodell konfigurieren (http://app.volkswagen.de/ihdcc/de/configurator.html#31305)

My dealer has said to me on numerous occasions that for VW the UK is the fussiest, pickiest market they have which may explain a few things. Also they are trying to push upmarket here.
