Just found out that if you connect an Android phone to the Nav Pro unit you have a text message facility on the Nav Pro unit - read/write/display all etc (not sure if it has an audio read facility) ... connecting an iPhone doesn't give you this option. I guess it's the usual Apple security limitations such as the one where Android phone contacts will upload and show contact photos if available on the Nav Pro automatically but iPhone contacts can't.
