Hi,

Collected my new A6 Avant S-line Ultra yesterday and very happy with it, quick question though:

I have the keyless ignition, not sure if that means I have 'convenience keys' or not but I can't seem to un-lock the doors by putting my thumb on the door handle with the key in my pocket.
I can open the doors with keyfob button presses. Should I be able to open the door with my key in my pocket? or is that feature an optional extra ?

Here is a picture of my key:

Convenience key is what you have: no need to put/turn a blade anywhere in the cabin and locking/unlocking requires keyfob press.
Advanced key is an extra option, which allows opening/closing the lock by touching the small square part in the handle while having the key nearby.

All A6s have keyless start but keyless locking/unlocking is an optional feature. The key looks the same in both cases.

Thanks, cleared that up then - I don't have it !
