I got a new B9 A4 in end of August, had to wait quite a while until the heated windscreen option finally became available on MY2017.

Just a heads up to anyone considering it.
I have Toll Tag and it seem that toll tags attached to the windscreen as recommended by the Toll operators, do not work with this windscreen.
The Toll tag cannot be read by the automated reader system at Toll Plazas.
My local toll operator has checked this and say that they can do nothing until Kapsch and / or the windscreen manufacturer make some changes.
Audi seem to use a windscreen from Saint-Gobain Sekurit

The windscreen has (I thought!!) RF transparent zones (Black dotted areas) left & right of the rear view mirror mount for Toll tags as is common on most cars.
Toll operators in Ireland use a tag from Kapsch which is very common (I'd guess these are common in the UK too)

Not 100% which of the 4 variants, I don't have my Tag to hand.

This won't be an issue for most people, but anyone using a Toll tag may want to be aware of this and discuss with Audi if ordering the heated windscreen.
Otherwise I'm very happy with car.
