On my 14 plate A6 there was a setting to alter the angle of the Xenon headlights for continental driving. Having just taken delivery of a new 2016 A4 S-Line Avant with LED headlights, I cannot find a menu to alter the setting for a forthcoming holiday in France.

Does anyone know if there is an adjustment on the A4 or does the navigation system do it automatically?

Any help would be appreciated

I'm afraid you'll have to buy some stick on converters. No way of doing it as far as i know.

Apparently if you have the full-matrix LEDs, then they do as you say and adjust automatically, partly making use of the GPS and partly the way they operate normally (adjusting as they see fit so as not to dazzle oncoming etc.). I don't know what the scenario is for the "standard" LED headlights though.

Nick

i have the same car, and travelled to France in August. I can confirm that you don't need to anything to the headlights, I was told before I travelled that as they are flat beams, they do not to be adjusted as they don't shine to one particular side of the road or the other. Hope that helps

Hi Phil
I'm getting texts with the Sony Experia M4 and although the Audi screen shows that emails have arrived, I cannot read them! Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Phil I think that I have the answer in that the Sony phone does not have something called MAP but at least it works with text messaging.
