Dis mpg

Hello peeps.
Ive a question about the mpg dis. It seems to give me an average for every trip. I can switch off the engine with it showing 32 mpg. When I start her up again and drive off, it's at about 21 mpg.
Is this normal or is it a setting that needs changing.
I know it's a rough mpg figure only.

Cant you view the overall average by pressing the mode button?.....at least that what I believe it's called.

Im sure it's a setting thing, but it does bug me loads.

I don't think you can alter any settings. With the mode button you can toggle between trip and overall values in MPG, distance, time and average MPH.

I messed about in the two computer settings and now it tells me its doing 28.2 mpg. Atleast before it started of low but climbed steadily up.
Now it just stays 28.2mpg, but my smile is big :biglaugh:
