Hi,
So i'm new to this forum but i have been searching the web all over for help on this.
So i have a 2004 mk5 Golf 1.6 - BGU engine code
The problem i have is after the engine has warmed up, at idle it will hunt (rev up and down) between 700rpm and 1500rpm
It will only do this with the Air Condition on
All vaccum hoses have been checked and replaced where necessary. MAP Sensor cleaned, throttle body cleaned.
I believe it could be a faulty egr valve, as when i disconnect the electrical connector to the egr it idles beautifully.
What do you think? Is it the EGR Valve, if so can i just leave the electrical connector unplugged?
Or is it something else
