View Full Version : Order Confirmed but it's MY2016

Hi all,

I just had a lease order confirmed for the following new A4 model.


Audi A4 Saloon S Line 2.0TDI Quattro 190ps S Tronic
Metallic paint – Floret Silver
Heated Front Seats

I'm really happy with the deal I've got, but the lease company just told my its MY2016. Reading around i can only find that the MY2017 includes parking system plus as standard where as the MY2016 does not. Basically I wont get front sensors (i cant believe that wasn't standard!!)?

Are there any other differences i need to be aware of? I assume i get Android Auto/Apple Car Play? This is a big selling point for me.

I think that was only change. I am sure you still love it. must be in stock ready if it's MY16 car.

Worth double checking on the carplay. On my MY16 Q7 the Audi Smartphone Interface was a £350 option but became standard on MY17.

It was standard on my Sport model (MY2016)

MY17 (from the end of May - week 22) have an embedded SIM which enables Audi Connect features to operate without the owner providing his own SIM. Audi Connect SIM – online without borders (https://www.audi.co.uk/about-audi/latest-news/audi-connect-sim-online-without-borders.html)

Apple CarPlay and Smartphone Interface is standard on all B9 A4s, including the earlier ones (MY16)

How can you tell what MY it is? Mine is due for delivery next month, comes with parking system plus I'm sure...

They told me it was MY16.

Not got it yet but the spec on my Audi say "Audi Smartphone Interface"

...and rear sensors only. Must be a stock car as its going to be on a 66 plate
