Just had my golf mk5 1.9 TDI 2008 remapped and have been advised that removing the disel particulate filter will enhance the remap, where do I find this and is removal easy? Thanks

What is your engine code as not all 1.9s came with a DPF. It's quite a bit of work to get at it and will require cut open, gutted, re-welded and software for the DPF removed from the ECU.
