Any secret to get these to work? I have already been in to the settings and checked that they are set to fold in when the car is locked, however sometimes the car locks and they fold in and sometimes they don't!

Haven't spotted any pattern to it yet.

are you using the same key every time?

No idea...had both keys on me as had just picked the car up. Is this setting coded to the key then? I'll use the wife's key tonight to check the setting, as it wasn't working for her today when she took the car out for the first time.

Do you have advanced key? If so, yes the mirror folding is set per key if you have advanced key

If you dont, its the one settings in the MMI for all keys.

I have advanced key option, but I expect the same is true as standard for much of the config settings.

I remember configuring quite a few settings per key when I got the car. I think these included:
- seat, steering column and wing mirror memory
- ambient lighting
- radio presets
- shortcut number settings on touchpad
- map view preference
- I think a number of the settings under Car such as driver assist etc

No advanced key, but (I think) you have to have driver side memory seat with the folding mirrors, so could be linked to individual settings (assuming seat memory is linked to standard key?)

Can confirm that the folding door mirrors are linked to the individual standard key. Both now set to auto fold.

Its not unique to the mirrors lighting and locking etc are linked to each key.

I don't have ambient lights, did notice all the central locking options were linked to the key.
