Thinking of buying q7 around 2010 plus any things to look out for?

Hi

I am looking at getting 3.0 tdi s line Q7 starting from year 2010.

Is there anything i need to look for like common problems or anything else?

Also how reliable are these motors ? Any advice would be great

I would say the most important thing would be to find one with the 8 speed Autobox which became standard around late 2010. It it is a much smoother drive than the 6 speed and should give better mpg too.
Otherwise a full service history and a good warrany are important as they can be expensive to run if things start to go wrong. A set of Injectors could easily end up at £1500 for example.
