Hi

Issue with my 2013 q7: parking system sudenly stopped working.

There is a long beep when I shift to revers, and the button is flashing. Also the parking screen is not showing in the mmi. I have checked all the sensors, their all making the clicking sound.

Any ideas? I dont have a vcd :(

Welcome,

Sadly, IMO no real way to tell without VCDS or VCP and looking at the fault codes or taking it to a dealer to check it out.

It could be something as simple as a loose wire... but without the codes, its nothing more than guess work

Good luck in your quest

Andy

Ok, so I got this from the auto scan..

1080340 - Parking Aid Speaker
B107C 14 (009) - Open or short to ground

Is it possible to pinpoint which buzzer that is faulty? I guess the q7 has one in the front and one in the back?

So there are 2 buzzers, one at front and one at back but they are the same Part Number: 8E0 919 279

Here is a couple of PDF's I've exported on where they are located. First one under Steering column, second on the side in the rear seat comparments
