Here's what that 3-coloured icon on the sat nav map is...

I saw a few comments here about the 3-coloured icon on the Audi sat nav map and what it's meant to represent. I was wondering that myself every time I saw it. And it shows up a lot.

Today I found out when checking a setting via the infotainment module. Check in Map -> Map settings -> Map content. It's shown as 'Entertainment.' Here's a screenshot:

Now, I'm not clear what 'Entertainment' means. Cinema? Theatre? Restaurant? Pub? Already separate listings for those. In any case, now I know what the icon is at least!

It's a general category encompassing anything deemed to be of an entertaining nature.

No idea who decides what is entertaining or not though :)

I drove by a "gentleman's club" the other day and the icon did not show. So Audi does not see that as entertaining. :-)

Some pubs show up, but not all.
