I can see the next few months being TORTURE.

I did that at the start and then soon realised that for almost 3 months nothing changed. Then I had 6 days where every day it moved one step and now I am stick in Quality control. Best advice is to almost try and forget about it. It has been the longest 3 months of my life!

I think I had that once.. It cleared when I closed the session cleared local cache and relogged in.. Hope it works..

Mines stuck in EMDEN since last Monday.. No change I kept tracking vessels in and out of EMDEN & SHEERNESS PORTS like a headless chicken.. Have given up though. [emoji30]

Prompted me to take a look, as our car is Wk 26 (starts 27th June) and we have jumped from "Preparation" on Wednesday to "Panel Shop" yesterday and "Paint Shop" today. Hadn't expected any movement until Monday, but glad to see it is on the move!!

Mine took 5 or 6 working days if I remember correctly from the day they put the order through..

I remember faffing between “I put the order” or my company put the order for me.. Chose “I placed and order” .... Not sure if the both work however..

Cheers all, looks like I'm going to drive myself mental over the coming months.

Another question. When I log in, it states I'm on stage 1 "Welcome" and the blurb says "Your order has now arrived at our factory in Ingolstadt"...but stage 2 is "Order received"...so what's the difference between stage 1 and 2? It looks like they've received the order at stage 1!

The order was placed on14 June, anyone have any idea how long it should take to get a build week please?

I think you can see the provisional build weeks at stage 2 which becomes locked in at stage 3. I used this method (courtesy of Nemo I think?):

I think "Preparation" is when the order is confirmed with the factory and the spec becomes locked down (was the case for me)

The end of that week is typically when you end up in Quality Control. Stage 3 is perhaps a month before. I hope this date is wrong!

Maybe just ask dealer if what are seeing is the case... If they realistically think it could potentially be the next year then your right.. MY18 becomes more of a consideration for you.. Not sure how much can change in that time... With quite a few changes this June. ;-0

OK so two-and-a-half weeks since my order went live on YourAudi and still on stage 1...and no build week. Is this in line with others' experiences? Or was it quicker?

From memory, my order was placed around 16th March, showed as order received 30th March and moved to preparation 4th June!

Build week doesn't show on the usual website, there's a method to get the raw data posted on here in various places if you look through similar threads on new orders.

Thanks Elrao, my initial order which I cancelled also moved to stage 2 after 14 days so hopefully not much longer for my new order.

Yeah I've tried the raw data method as posted previously but still no build week...I don't think it appears until you reach stage 2?

I've just checked and would assume that you wouldn't have a build week until stage 2 as that's "Order Received" . Then they can allocate a built slot. From memory I think mine was nearly 3 weeks.

I got my build week while it was at "Order Received", but I didn't get my order number etc. to log in until at least a month after the order was placed - by which time it had a build week.
