New clutch and dmf fitted,judder

Hi all, I have a 57 plate 1.9 Tdi golf plus I have just paid to have a new clutch and dmf,now intermittent on started I get a terrible judder sometimes varies in how much,garage gas had it back and claim couldn't get car to do it on starting,now this could be the case as it can go days and not do it,car is fine once started ,could it be a loose starter ,I am at a total loss

What do you mean a loose starter? Do you think that is causing your clutch to judder? No way, if you never had this problem before the garage fitted your new DMF then its more likely the garage have not aligned it properly/welded up your old DMF/ fitted a single conversion. Are they reputable?

When do you get the intermittent judder? What gear and what revs? Do you only get it on starting from a standstill?
