Tiguan 2015 swivel tow bar

I'm looking to buy a 2015 Tiguan, registered April 2015, dealer spec says it has a swivelling tow bar (1D4) and I cannot find on Internet how it operates? I'm viewing car next week but wanted to find out before that. Only want the tow bar for a bike rack. Tiguan model is 177 R line auto. Thanks.

If it's the same design as the one fitted to Touaregs, I imagine it will be, you just press a button in the boot and it drops down under its own weight.
You then have to give it a little push to the left to lock it in position. Very easy to use but only issue I have is the ball gets rusty in a very short time because although it stows out of sight it's not covered.
I guess rust may not be a problem to you if not using for towing.

Thanks for the reply, sounds simple enough! Viewing the car on Tuesday so I'll get the dealer to give me a demo.
