Audi Q7 2009 MMI Display + Airbag light

My MMI display has gone black, I did try to replace the screen and the controls that did not make a difference, Music/CD/Btooth/Phone all work from controls and instrument display. It is just that the screen wont work, now that I replaced the screen what else should I look at.


On a second note, when I replaced the screen the Airbag light came on , I am sure I did plug in all the plugs that I removed and I do not think they are Airbag related, I never noticed the Airbag light before and I am pretty detailed. Any connection ?

I once had a black screen at the MMI and all I did was to pull out every fuse (as I didn't know which one was for MMI) and put in again.

Also there is a reset sequence which I don't remember quite well (pushing one of the MMI controls, maybe volume, for some seconds and every went reset).

Now that you have the airbag light, you should think you making a VCDS scan before you continue buying stuff.
