Black Edition. When?

I'm currently looking to return to the Audi fold after a few years away. After initially looking at an A6 Black Edition, I've been getting offered around £6000 off an S-line avant A4. I've chosen the tech pack and virtual cockpit, but that puts the B+O and privacy glass out of my budget. So the question is, when is a factory black edition likely to be offered. This would give the usual extras as standard.

Would be be a bit hacked off if I ordered one and the black edition appeared shortly afterwards (the dealers aren't able to give any answers).

I asked the same question at my dealership a few weeks back when I was checking out the new A4.

The reply was that the "Black Edition" usually follows about 2 years after the initial launch of the new model.

Definitely can't wait that long. The 'new car' seed is in my head and its growing :)
