Thought I'd start a random thread of pictures and videos for the Q.

I'll start with my picture down in Cornwall

http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160604/55927dbfd4443770b8bc0baccade5e63.jpg

and just for fun the video my wife took whilst I was holding my breathe and making the car as small as possible...best to have the volume on...

Nemo78 - VW Audi Forum(8895166) on Vimeo (https://vimeo.com/169334005)

And I still haven't washed it to determine if any of these are actually scratches

Congratulations JMB! Looks great, especially at the front where the bumper blends into the grill. Another colour into he mix for those still choosing!!

Collecting new car just jogged my memory on a question I forgot to ask. I checked my tyre pressures about a week after collection and the rears were spot on, but the fronts were really over inflated - I think upper recommended limit was 38 psi and both were 46? Anyone else seen this? Dealer PDI mistake or factory?

Am I the only one that wishes the new car standardly came with a slighter wide tyres? I'm sure some over paid genius and millions of pounds and hours in a lab can argue to the counter of this, but considering the width of the car, when you see it from the back, the tyres do look a little too "slender" for my liking! They remind me that Mitsubishi hybrid thing ; phev?

there how to video and explain what the kits do

one of the few on here that went for SE (as I had a restricted budget) and do regret slightly not getting an S-Line and ambient lighting.
But thats the way it goes (happy wife happy life) as they say. Very excited to pick up tomorrow.

Although annoyed that when I just filled up at petrol station under bright led lights I can see the washing swirls on paintwork where they cleaned it. Grrrrrr!!!!! Otherwise just drove 150 miles from Dundee to Darlington and tomorrow into London. I've got a few questions but will read through manual and of stuck will ask forum for help.

Looks really awesome! We've got a Glacier White with Black Optic on order, just left Zeebrugge on its journey to NZ.

It's also very interesting to see the protection on the car, if you have more pics of that please share!

Am I right in thinking when they released the Black Pack Audi said that you couldn't have it with any of the black colour options? I've watched that video loads as mine will be exactly that spec but Daytona Grey. I think it was that video that cost me £2k as I rang up the dealer and added the air suspension after seeing it in action on this video. One more week till build.......

Daytona Grey with 21" Titanium wheels
Black pack
Tech pack
Style pack (Pan roof, ambient lighting and side steps)
Air suspension
Park assist pack
Memory seats
Bose upgrade
Flat bottom wheel
Entertainment mobile (think I'll regret this one)

There's also a few other little ones added too.

Can't wait. Seeing the collections on here over the past couple of days is getting me all excited again.

That's nearly the lot! Gonna be the nuts when u get it. Waiting is awful but great when u get it. Have to say I do like the advanced parking pack over the park assist because of the 360 degree camera. The side assist is ok and not as great as I thought as its a bit too sensitive

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thakey17

The parking pack I've got has the 360 deg cameras but not the side assist. This was a late addition after I had a few near misses in a really tight multi storey in my current A6.

I'm not the greatest with tech, I just hope I can work it all out.... Following this forum over the last 5 months has really helped and also cost me more in options than my original budget. Ha ha.

It's the first time I've ever spec'd a car so did go a little "tick happy". I've always bought nearly new / ex demo so there's always been some kind of compromise on spec. I wanted this to be near perfect for me. Still a few things I wish I'd added but had to draw the line somewhere.

Speaking of Heated windscreen : am I being dumb by not getting its use? Doesn't standard climate control clear the windscreen in 10 seconds or so too when it has mist? Or is this purely for the moments during winter when your screen has frost? In which case, my question is how long does the screen defrost when it's a head screen?

Don't quote me on it but it's been available for a few months from memory now. Purely from memory it became available for a short time in October 2015 but couldn't be combined with black paints, vanished around Dec/Jan and then reappeared in line with MY17 orders - what I can't tell you is if in May time it could be combined with black paints. But it's definitely been available in combo with black paints for a few months now as I remember checking

Check the configurator, it still states not available when ordering in combination with night black or Orca, yet as John mentioned you can spec it. I spoke to the dealer in June and I imagine he just read off the configurator. Seems like pretty poor organisation if you ask me.

I plan on getting the work done else where it possible as i don't want to hold my order up ! It looks great.

Looks real nice def not nogaro as I'd order that but after 3 month wait I was talked out of it and glad in a way
i got talked into seapang and glad I did
in the showroom and petrol station lights the blue does look deeper and darker

love the colour apart from when it gets dusty with our weather and winds when it then rains and dry it looks a bit of a mess lol
makes you want to clean it more but I've lost count how many people have just come up to me and said what a lovely colour blue so that alone is worth keeping it clean

the black pack really does suit it

DOES ANY ONE KNOW IF THE BLACK PACK INC BLACKED OUT TAIL LIGHTS IN THE ONES SET IN THE BUMPER?

back in late oct last year when I order my car the black pack was available for about a week then it was removed again not sure why

lovely to see the photo mind and as others said what a TEASE lol

He needs it for at least a full 48 hours, so three days without it - I didn't ask about a courtesy car as I have something else I can drive in the meantime.

I dropped it off with him and got a lift home, and he is picking me up to collect it tomorrow - but I am only 40 mins away.

Probably a question for Andy, but does anyone know if you can get the chrome bits wrapped / coated to get a similar effect. What sort of money would you be looking at?

It look magnificent, thakey17! :)

I wonder if I shouldn't ask the dealer if I could get black optics installed as well.
I also saw on US forum that quite a few people had SQ7 pedals installed. I would purchase and install them because in Poland, we get only the rubber ones which look pretty cheap comparing to the rest of the car.

Got some more pics of the new car from today. Can't wait to actually get it home and give it a proper detail. Although I couldn't actually take the car today I did get a little drive. It's the first time I've driven a Q7 with the air suspension and it really is great. Only tried Comfort against Dynamic and the difference was noticeable.http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161006/bdf6eea852b17715099a3c77e946f605.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161006/bdf6eea852b17715099a3c77e946f605.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161006/b7549741e1f201c62c06d9aa6b2f73a3.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161006/87a3ee81f7b04994c8959705d5bbf043.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161006/bade333f825e2f49fb2e345890b9c82a.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161006/2c2eeb753303e624efa78671ae4b23d0.jpg

Some pictures of my Q7 pre detailing. It's going in for GTechniq Crystal Serum coating next week, so I will get some super shiny pictures after that.

Really loving Thakey's Daytona Grey car and still a bit sad I didn't get the Sepang Blue colour I was set on, but the Orca Black does suit the Q7 and my wife seems to like it, which is the most important thing [emoji6]

Thanks for the kind words Andy. Not sure if you've seen all of my posts lately but I still do not have the car on my driveway. The good news is that I'm getting it on Wed morning now that all the issues are sorted. Can't wait. Really not sure yet if my calendar will allow me to get to MK, I work a lot of weekends but will Defo try my best.

P13stro, that looks awesome!!! When did you collect? RE the lights I am waiting to see if my dealer's parts dept want to give me anything for them, if not I'll try Ebay. How good do those rear lights look when they are on!!!! I wasn't sure until I saw a set fitted then I was totally sold.

OK, car picked up and I've driven the few miles back from the dealership - I'm a bit speechless to be honest other than to say, WOW, just WOW - spanks the X5 hands down in every single department.

A couple of points - the needle sweep is already activated, and the steering feels a tad on the heavy side compared to the X5 - is that normal? Don't recall the demo feeling like that? Need to also find out how to make the mirrors fold in on locking.

Proper write up and more pics to follow but here are a couple of initial pics.

Looking good Gyro - I bet you have already forgotten the frustrations you had. Love the Sepang and 22" wheels!

I find that the steering is quite light in the Q7 - I am not sure if it changes according to the drive select mode, but it is a hell of a lot lighter than my M5. If you think it feels heavy, it makes me wonder if they adjusted the steering feel for the SQ7 over the standard Q7?

so glad it's all sorted and you have your hands on it now and had a drive

like above with steering the heaviest is dynamic the lightest is comfy auto changes depending on speed
comfy does feel a little to light

guessing yours will feel bit more heavy than mine due to bigger wheels and heavier V8 lump under the bonnet and extra turbos and intercooler

looks great need more photos mind and a nice right up what it's like to drive?
and just in time for the weekend too so a good chance to go out cruising

bet your be able to sleep tonight now and be lost not checking the internet or phoning the dealer?

Have fun

Thanks so much for all the comments folks, appreciated. I promise once I get to grips with the tech I'll do a write up/pics.

In the meantime however, I've set up
Audi connect no bother but I'm having trouble tying to set up the wifi hotspot. As per page 264 of the manual, I go to menu > telephone > right control button, wifi settings. I then set the wifi to "on" then select the network key...but according to the manual it's then supposed to display a list of available wifi networks...but nothing appears or happens and it seems therefore that the hotspot is not activated? I can see the car in the list of wifi networks on my phone and I can connect to to it, but I can't set up the hotspot

Any ideas or advice greatly received!

Thanks

Hi Scott,

How are you trying to configure? Are you planning to use a sim in the car or connect the car to your Mobile to use its data?

Gyro
14-10-2016, 03:56 PM
I want to use my mobile phone's data so the kids can watch Netflix etc. on their iPads. I've not put any other SIM into the car. I've got my iPad in the car with me so I can test it.

srbsq7
14-10-2016, 03:59 PM
If you want to do that, don't use the car at all and just enable the personal hotspot on the phone and then connect each iPad to it. You could also connect the car to the phone using the same method - I think it's wifi client or something in the MMI

Gyro
14-10-2016, 04:04 PM
I did think about that, but me being me, I want to get it to work with the car - I want the kids stuff to automatically connect through our phones' day when we get in the car, just like how they connect automatically to the house wifi.

I just had a play around with this whilst doing the OBDeleven search and you can indeed do what you want. I had to pop the SIM out of my MY16 car so I could enable the "hotspot and client". I then connected the car to my iPad which has a SIM and Personal Hotspot enabled. My iPhone was still connected to the Car's wifi hotspot and was able to browse the web via the car using the iPad's SIM. Obviously for you, you want to connect to the phone and connect the iPad's to the car but the config is the same.

Here's a few screenshots.

Change to hotspot and client and then do a network search - phone must be configured with personal hotspot turned on

At this point, your car should be using your phone for all data. Check whether any of the connected MMI functionality is working okay.

Then make sure you configure the hotspot settings as this is what your kids iPads will connect to. Will post last pic in next message

Cheers Andy.

OK, so here are the excuses...I was at a wedding all day on Saturday and was horrifically hungover yesterday hence no write up or pics yet.

Did a little bit of tootling around on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, plus the wife allowed me to use it on my weekly commute to Aberdeen this week to show it off. It's currently in Autosonic in Aberdeen getting a Tracker Locate tracker fitter, with the Thinkware F770 F&R dashcam getting fitted on Friday. I'll also be taking it up to my detailer this weekend to get him to have a look and get it booked in for a full protection detail.

OK, so I've never known a car to have so much tech. I managed to get MMI connect and My Audi set up with no issues, so that's all good. Loving the fact that I can have two phones connected to the car at one time. Have tried Car Play and BT streaming of my Apple Music, a bit disappointed that Car Play doesn't work wirelessly and if you are plugged in and using it, you can't use the steering wheel controls to make calls. Not a major issue for me as I will just use BT streaming...although a wee bit disappointed it doesn't display album artwork - maybe I'm missing something? I've set up my individual drive select with everything on dynamic except the steering and suspension, seems a good set up for me, and I love driving slowly in it (!) - the noise it makes at low revs in 1st/2nd is just amazing. Left Edinburgh at 0430 this morning so it was a good opportunity to use the matrix lights with automatic full beam assist, it works really well and you can see the lighting pattern adjusting for oncoming traffic. Didn't get flashed once so it looks like it works quite well. Also this morning, some punk in an SQ5 wanted to race, I gave in and I was surprised how well he was keeping up with me but managed to pull away from him before realising how stupid I was being! The power delivery seems to be very smooth and much less brutal than the X5 (which had about 50 HP and 150 Nm less), I suppose that is down to the SQ7 have all its torque and power available from lower revs meaning a smoother delivery? Loving the ambient lighting, I have nice shade of dark purple all round whereas the wife has green and redish-pink! The central storage bin in quite small but I love the fact I can have the driver's seat all the way back and down, and still being able to fit my daughter in behind me (I'm 6' 8" so this was quite important!). Never had a HUD before and I was a bit indifferent about it but having used it, it seems just natural and is not a distraction at all - I really like how the speed limit flashes if you get a bit fruity with the throttle, it does make me slow down. Also the ACC - brilliant, it's the fourth car I've had with it, but this is the first time (I think) it's slowed down for roundabouts as well as other cars in front of me. I am also so glad I went for those 22" wheels, the really set the car off beautifully - one thing I raised an eyebrow at was the Hankook tyres it came with. I would have thought it would have come with a more premium brand like Continental or Pirelli. I did some reading on Hankook and apparently they are on the cusp of becoming a "premium" brand? No complaints so far. Even on the 22s, the ride is tremendous on the air suspension, very, very comfortable...mind you, I did come from an X5 with runflats on stiff M-suspension! OH, and advanced key! Where have you been all my life? Even after a couple of days of ownership, I couldn't do without it (sorry Pitch!). I haven't had a chance to test out the parallel parking assist, think I might be too scared I'd kerb the wheels. I forgot how good the Bose sound system is, even ACDC playing at full blast doesn't distort that much, light years better than the Harmon/Kardon set up in the X5 - I need to fiddle with the settings a bit better to get it optimised, I just turned all the effects up to the max. because, as every man knows, more is better!

As I said previously, it beats the X5 in every possible way.

By far the best two things however are the noise and the result you get when you mash your right foot into the floor. It is just so astonishing and is by far the quickest, most comfortable, most well-appointed, best laid out, spacious car I have every owned or driven. To be honest it's probably about as quick as I would be comfortable with - I have been lusting after an RS6 for years but with I really don't think I'd be comfortable with even more power and less weight. I'm so glad I waited and waited for this car, it is just phenomenal in every way.

I'll add more to it as I go along, I'm mindful that I'm only a fraction of the way through the manual...also more pics to follow later in the week!

Cheers

Glad you're enjoying it! Still waiting for the numbers to come up till i place the order :D

I think there are very few cars that support wireless CarPlay. Apple have been a bit funny about this and actually stopped VW showing it off at an event earlier this year. I'm sure I read the new BMW 5 series is one of the first to support it. I never used the voice control functionality in the X5 as it was clunky but I use it a lot in the Q7. I've programmed a couple of regular numbers in into the shortcut buttons and the rest of the time I use voice command (Audi) or long press for Siri.

Thanks for the heads up on the dash cam. My X5 was pranged whilst parked last year and luckily they left their details. Before that, my Touareg was also hit but the driver didn't notice and when I got back, she was still parked next to me with all the paint transfer down her bumper!! I've been looking for a dash cam that supports parked mode and not seen any until i just looked at the F770 spec!

How much did you pay for Front & Back with fitting? I assume you've gone for hardwired? On the website, it only shows 16GB and 32GB options? Is that sufficient?

It's £358 supplied and fitted (fully hardwired in to enable parking mode), including a 32 GB memory card. I bought the camera, after a lot of research, from the RAC online shop. They send you out the camera and then Chameleon (authorised Thinkware installer) install it for you. I ordered mine in the middle of last week and it arrived on Saturday morning...I can't believe how tiny the cameras are. Chameleon are fitting this coming Friday at my house. I paid by Paypal and chose to pay after installation, that way you've got a bit more leeway if anything goes awry. Here the memory card capacities in terms of recording time for full HD at 30 fps (I think class 10 cards are recommended), I have a 64GB car din my DSLR camera, so I will use that in the dashcam and use the 32 GB in my camera:

Front only
16GB SD Card - 124 minutes
32GB SD Card - 248 minutes
64GB SD Card - 496 minutes
Front and Rear Recording

Nice one, thanks. I did read somewhere that you could turn the speed stamp off. Not that I go nuts in the car or anything, but I'd hate to be rear-ended with no witnesses, present the camera footage to prove non-fault, only to be prosecuted for doing say 80 mph on a motorway. I may turn the warnings off too as I have them in the car anyway. I think I read you can also turn off the microphone, quite useful if you have a cr4p taste in music or if you're having a barney with the missus :biglaugh:

Lol!

The only concern I have about going for this is whether it would drain the battery. During the week my run to the station is about 10 mins each way and ideally I'd want the dash cam to be doing the parked mode recording for c.12 hours before driving home.

Looking at various forums, not sure if it would drain the battery or stop recording after fewer hours (due to voltage cutoff ) therefore not being as useful ?

Maybe just going for the single front cam would eek it out just enough?!

As far as I can make out, you can set the parking mode to either record 1 fps OR have it on motion detection only. Also I understand it won't drain the battery - it switches off at a predetermined voltage level.

Yeah, my concern is that by only doing short journeys in the week, the battery won't charge sufficiently so the cam will switch off after a few hours and not the 12 hours I need to get the most benefit.

Hi folks, so here is a pic fest of the SQ7!

I've included post-installation pics of the Thinkware F770 front and rear dashcams as requested, along with some footage of the front and rear. The pics of the car getting washed were taken at my detailers - took it up to show him today and get it booked in for a full protection detail (booked in for 9 November), so he gave it a wash for me...still loving the car, I don't think the novelty will ever wear off, and neither will the ear-to-ear grin.

Apologies in advance, I am RUBBISH at taking pics and I had to compress them as they were too large to upload here, plus they would only let me upload five at a time so will have to split over several posts.

Thinkware F770 FRONT camera in Audi SQ7 - Eastbound on M9 - YouTube (https://youtu.be/s2ddMOSKRgY) - front camera.

Thinkware F770 REAR camera in Audi SQ7 - Westbound M9 - YouTube (https://youtu.be/uFup92xUxd8) - rear camera.

EDIT - they are both Eastbound, from the exact same section of the journey. Too many beers tonight me thinks!

Looks amazing. Thanks for the dash cam pics. I think i forgot to mention, followed your lead and purchased via RAC and booked in with Chameleon on Thursday AM.

Even if it can't last 12 hours, it will still be good for parking at other times at the weekend. Also make anyone thinking of driving off think twice if they see the cam!

Looks really neat from your pics

Cheers mate. You won't be disappointed, the camera works great and the app/setup is an absolute piece of cake. I was surprised how neat it was. I had a really "old school" guy who was a proper perfectionist, so he was at it for over two hours, but he was happy as long as I kept him going with Nespresso!

I've posted links to the footage above albeit with a stupid mistake in the names!

Yeah I thought I better be restrained in the car in case anything unfortunate happened ;). I tried it with the sound recording on so the engine note could be heard but the sound quality wasn't the best. Need to fiddle with it a bit more although I'm not sure there is much more to be had.

Hope the install goes well, would be good to hear what you think.

Hahaha don't worry, I do it all the time.

I noticed the extra piece of trim, I'm not sure what it's for...thought maybe like a mini-mud guard? Not sure...anyone else have any thoughts?

Yeah, similar to the steering wheel, I think someone else said the same about the gearlever being perforated leather on other models, not sure if it's just to a difference in models. I'd rather have perforated leather to be honest - feels nicer to the touch IMO. I've got a heater steering wheel so not sure if that makes a difference?

Be interesting to know what the trim is there for but like you say prob defects water better and have less spray

was me saying about a smooth gear knob when I did a mini write up of one I sat in local showroom but didn't notice smooth steering wheel
maybe it's as it's heated

Our Q7 S-line has the flat bottom wheel (2PF) which is perforated and so is the gear lever. They look great. I noticed on demonstrators and loan cars that don't have the perforated on the gear level that the flat leather seems to get scratched if people aren't careful with it.

Love the SQ7 Gyro, looks awesome!

Your car looks excellent. I think the extra little trims on the wheel arches are due to the 22" wheels. BMW do a similar thing with the optional 21" wheels. I assume they must be a touch wider than the 21" wheels, although not quite sure what extra benefit they provide.

Is it just me or have Audi missed a trick with the Virtual cockpit, it would be great if rather than a default grey Q7 on the display and MMI it would be cool if it actually represented the actual car and colour.

I like the central rev counter on the SQ7 though wish mine had that.

Yeah totally agree. You can imagine if the Q7 were made by Apple the car as displayed in VC and settings would match your spec exactly, not just a generic silver model.

I reckon you're right. My old X5 with the 20" rims sandblasted the paintwork. Had to have the rear doors resprayed after 6 months - they then applied those transparent protectors which became factory standard.

Been back in touch with Ed Audi as had been considering replacing wifey's Golf R with an S3 but the buggars obviously didn't want any more business out of me so another DSG R has been ordered.

Thansk Pitch mate, I'm loving loving loving it. Yeah it doesn't seem like long ago I ordered but the wait seemed like an eternity. All worth it now though.

Disappointed to hear that about Edinburgh Audi. The Golf R is probably better value for money than an S3, I had a mk 7 Golf Bluemotion GT trim and it came with LOADS as standard (ACC etc.).

Here you! Edinburgh is God's own country...

Didn't realise your missus was from the Granite City, did she ever introduce you to that northeast delicacy, the beloved "rowie" (aka "butterie")? Awful, awful things. Big oil link between Lowestoft and Aberdeen - I used to work with a guy from Oulton Broad. As a big Partridge fan, I'd love to do a tour of East Anglia, particularly Hemsby, Bungay, and Spixworth.

Yes, the current R has a fair level of kit and the new one has sat nav and heated seats added as standard. The lease deals on the S3 was pretty good but as a min I would have had to add sissy sensors (plus an extra set on the alloys so she doesn't keep kerbing the pigging things), privacy glass (13yo Henry is not quite a gifted in the facial area like his dad, he scares old ladies) and ACC (so I can look at the nice countryside without the fear to ramming fellow road users up the rear).

The R is one hell of a car and there only seemed one thing to replace it with and thats another R, there really is nothing else out there that can seat four people, do the weekly shop, manage 40+ mpg, do sub 5 sec's to 60, handle and put power down like its on glue and doesn't draw attention 'cause it looks just like the Golf your mum drives down to the WI cake baking market each Friday morning and Waitrose in the afternoon. And its only £34k and it WILL do a true 170mph (NB not on UK roads, only abroad on the ring officer)

How are you handling the torque and how long do you think it will be before your first SP30???

Heck.... Yep when MiL goes back up she brings them back. I think it is like roulette, eat four and your arteries clog and you die.

Father in law was a trawler skipper here in Lowestoft hence following the herring along the coast and finding himself in Aberdeen.

You should get that blue bus down here, would be a nice trip. I have pals here and over the years who work and worked up in Aberdeen. Close friends moved from OB close to Huntly so I use to do that trip lots. Bungay mate is where my mums family is from and place of my old high school.

We have also developed commercial parks in Yarmouth over the past few years and again lots of business and links with your neck of the woods.

Thats not far lol here unless it's changed you can only get adjustable forward back head rests on the SQ7
funny how you can notice things just by a photo the adjustable ones have a more square head rest shafts where
non adjust rods are round

i suffer from a bad neck so either have to put back of seat more upright or tilt head back either way not truly comfy

Beaufort wood is what I have also looks lovely

can never understand why you can spec vented seats and massage seats on an SE not S-Line

and heated steering with round steering not flat bottom

same as the black trim and Beaufort combo can't be specked on a SQ7 why not?

also on the Configurator on the SQ7 I can't find matrix headlights spec just says all weather LED op but in the book it says you can

Gyro do you have matrix lights on your SQ7?

I don't think I have forwards/back headrests, but need to check now and I had them on the X5 and loved them. Yeah I've got matrix lights, they were a late addition to the spec. after reading about them on here.

I was a bit annoyed I couldn't get the flat-bottomed steering wheel with heating, but on balance I went for the heated wheel, at least a circular wheel makes it easier to steer with your knees, every cloud and all that ;)

the SQ7 in my local showroom def had forward/back adjustable headrest but it did also have the diamond stitched seats so if you don't have them it must be part of the sports plus seats

as for flat bottom steering helps loads getting in and out the car (due to health prob) even though I have electric ajust streering colum
the flat bottom is very strange at first spec going round a roundabout and then sliding the wheel through your fingers
but very comfy to drive with spec if your like me and hold the steering wheel at the bottom

downside though due to flat bottom I have the steering wheel set low then I can't see the top row of warning lights on the dash or the temp gauge on the left due to wheel in line of sight lol

must say though the all road A6 I had the other day had heated streering wheel and was real nice hands was very toastie took longer to warm up than I thought mind
still cant see why they can't do a flat bottom heated steering wheel mind

thanks for your input Gyro

not sure why matrix lights is not on the Configurator though

No sock or cloth, just the power lead. It's pretty sleek and compact camera - I was surprised how small they actually were.

HeyGyro Hi,

I wish we all had time to a lot more things ourselves like minus 50 yrs I reckon , things were slower,in any case, I am just being a bit pedantic, I was referring to the cable coming out of the front DASH CAM if it makes any sense

did you source it from else where or came with the device:- just highlighting your pictures below:-

The cable in the front seems thickcker or lined with some cloh that appears to match the headlining, I think it's a good effect
