Well, well, finally my beauty has arrived. Forgot to take photos however it looks much better in live.
Waiting for car detailing to give dealer a quote for putting some paint protection. Not sure if I should go for wheels, interior and windows! What do you think?
As soon as I take photos I will upload them! :)

Post some photos of the dash too. I don't think many of us have gone for the wood trim. I see you've gone large on the options too so interested to hear your thoughts!

Given you've picked most options, I suspect you'll do the same with the detailer!

Congrats

I will ask the dealer to take few photos. I have 19in wheels this was the option available included in SLine package although in UK is 20in.
Dash looks great with the light wood trim.
Detailing should take 2-3 days depending on which package I choose.

Indeed, interior is exactly as I hoped to be. It does look minimalistic and stylish.

Agreed. Love Sepang. Sprint Blue was also a nice colour, you can still get it in the Audi Exclusive paint option, £2,155 I think!

Solar Orange or Toucan Yellow anyone?

Cheers, guys. Mrs chose the colour and myself the aluminium and wood interior with black seats although to me seats look dark grey. Thanks to the alcantara.
Next Tuesday, I have if booked for ceramic protection as I know that it is difficult to keep such colour clean, having BMW 1 in estoril blue! I know too much blue....

Congrats t1sh!!.. Abs brill.. Awesome looking beast..

Just shown these to the missus and you`ve managed to make her flick the the topside of my noggin! for not picking this color she wanted.. I guess everyone`s happy all around now..

The dealer had put me off this color by saying it's slightly diffrent colors between different Audi Model and Regions ie US UK EU ETC.. so settled with ink blue in the end it was that or BLACK but we already have another black and the swirling can be hard to hide in the long run.. I find DAYTONA GREY ages the best thus far..

Those wheels man - phew.. Bring the car out something well. 👍.. I need to learn to spell NV:-)

On that note:-
Does anyone know..

For those who've already received and had fun (:-0) experienced tracking their cars on your Audi .. --> Any thoughts on what happens when you reach your build date..

Mine says:-
Your Q7 will begin construction on 6th June 2016. - However no further updates. Should I be expecting any further updates at this stage

When does it actually move to “panel shop” and will I expect a lot of movement through the next stages in the next 20 days or so..??

I must confess it`s good to be able to track 5 this way but it's also almost cringeworthy at times ;-0

Did you ask/request Audi to cover the car like that for you?..

I've never received a new car with covers still on.. I am hoping some sort of covers are still on when comes time to collect so that I can drive that way straight to the detailer..

Actually car still looks like this meaning I asked them not to wash or clean the car at all. Detailed garage specifically asked me to pass this info to the dealer fearing that somebody at Audi will actually ruin the paint. Picking it up, tomorrow. Then it will stay for 3-4 days at detailed shop. Can't wait to get my hands on it! :)

this is my dash set up
on my last I really liked the black so thought I'd get black on the Q7
prob not every one cup of tea but I really like it

not the best of photo sun was so bright today even the black seats look grey and the reduced file size don't do it justice

Inlays- Upper high gloss black, lower in aluminium,

Maxw, I think that it looks great!
I totally agree about seat looking greyish on string sun. This is what I told the dealer that the seats look grey instead of black.

Mine was in prep for 20 days before going to panel shop on 28/4 which was a few days before my build week which started 2/5.

If you're build week started yesterday you must be only a few days away?? Perhaps the difference is you're one of the first MY17 builds?

Shouldn't be too long by the look of it.

Picked up my car an hour ago and drove it straight to the detailer garage. Must say that I am impressed how quite it is while cruising. Additional sound isolating windows are worth any money. With rear wheel drive it feels a bit strange as car doesn't behave like SUV and it caught me by surprise while doing some corners.
Picking it up next Monday or Tuesday! :)
