I think I've been here before in the past, not for a while though.
I own a 2010 Passat cc GT 170.
i put a race chip in there and in theory I get 200 BHP. It does feel that way I suppose...
Recently however I got an error on my dash.
i bought the carista OBD2 thingy and used the pro version of the iPhone app to access the codes and their meanings.
There's one I really struggle with, maybe someon can help?
Here it is:
Headlight aiming:
00471 - Controller for EGD electronically regulated absorption (J250)
It's an issue with the passenger side xenon (they're bi xenon). Upon ignition they don't do their little dance anymore and the error is thrown straightaway. I think something's broken in there, but what?
Would it be a part I can buy myself and repair myself?
Any suggestions would be most welcome! Thanks ;)
