Well picked up my 272 S Line in Orca Black today from Audi Watford. I made the mistake of buying some winter wheels off Ebay which were in Slough. Slough is where I went wrong hit road works and school traffic, the wheels were a fantastic bargain though.
The car is fantastic on my 280 mile drive home, wished I lived further away as I didn't want to get out of the car.
Got home and said to my wife do you want to have a look at it she replied "its getting dark"!!!!!!!!!!!!!:o

I ordered it just before Christmas with a projected delivery of mid May, then I was told I could have it late March. However I was in the US for almost 7 weeks so it has been so frustrating reading all the posts, but I looking forward to getting my head round the car. Thanks for your kind words.

Enjoy the power that is 272 or should I say that comes with the 272.. The 4M is a big improvement from the last mk.. And wants to be.. Let's hope the general acceptance and experienes from everyone remain positively strong 💪 in the years following on this 1st gen.mk2 for us all..

Where in slough did you get these bargain. Winter Wheels, how cheap and did they fit them too? I live appx 30 mins from there.. Last I checked the winter Pirelli`s were as below:-

285/45R20 112V - Pirelli Scorpion Winter (C, C RATED) were appx -£300 a corner

Other non winter Non Pirelli AO tyres were more pricey as well standard 285/45R20 112Y - Pirelli Scorpion Verde (C, B RATED) that apparently come with the car..

- Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 SUV - 285/45 R20 112Y XL with rim protection (MFS) AO - £202.80 (B, A RATED)

- Bridgestiones Continental ContiSportContact 5 - 285/45 R20 112Y XL with kerbing rib SUV AO - £222 (C, A RATED)

Would be nice to know your prices for future ref though?..

I usually don't buy all weather and winter tyres as don't commute heavy currently, I know I'm going to have to change them Pirelli once a year without any effort easily.. Manufacturer Approved tyres are purposely generally made of softer rubber so that they get quicker reaction times to warming rubber on when it comes to testing and rating thier tyres..

That's why we have this forum to come and talk about our cars. Can be frustrating when our other halves don't share the same enthusiasm for cars.

Enjoy the new car.

Hi I will post pics after the weekend when I get chance to clean her, the car not the wife. I have a few from outside the showroom, to show the black roof rails on a black car but to be fair the chrome spoils the effect I was after.
I got the winter wheels from a private buyer who had one of the first mk2's but wasn't happy with it. Checked stud diameter and offset. Surprised no-one was giving me a run on Ebay for the wheels. They are on 19 inch rims but £500 I'd be daft not too.
I must confess if I lived in the London area I would not go for a q7 some of the street narrowing road furniture was far far too close for my liking. Don't these idiots that design road layouts realise it tends to be boy races that thrash round in built up areas and they tend to drive small cars.:aargh4:.

Agree - I don't live in London but happened to pass through here the week before I got the Q7!! I think the Q7 is 6'6" isn't it?? Even in my wifes X1 I had to come to a stop and ease through! Ridiculous!!

Arrrrgh the bain of my life whenever I'm in London (which is too often for work). Like *** are the city of London Road planners thinking? The worst is that, these little places ain't even old, (when half the country didn't drive SUV's) most of them are recently included in recent roads upgrades. Why???

Thanks Nemo I will post some photos as I went for the black roof rails which I am not sure about but I am going to use black aero bars so I thought it might have a better effect.

I think the black rails look good.

Managed to get the Thule and bike on the roof today without any damage.

Had to order a mini step ladder to get the bikes off the roof when we get to the other end! Lowering the rear end helps but still tops out at 9ft.
