Standard sound system/ plug and play VW sub

Hi all in due to receive an R line tdi but was wondering what standard sound system is like and if anyone ordered the VW accessory plug and play retrofit sub?

It's ok - nothing great, to be fair I think it sounds quite flat and could do with a bit of extra bass and top but I wasn't going to splash ££ for the Dynaudio system. Do you have the discover pro, and do you know if it's already wired to accept the sub - IE can you just put it in the boot and the connectors are already there?

Hi, I've been thinking about this and I know some models are pre wired for subs etc and the cables are tied off / clipped up behind trim at build stage. Does anyone know if:1 this is the case in a B8 2: if there's a commonality with the terminal connections to VAG range? Mine isn't due until start of October and I'm not looking forward to a stock system (I'd have liked an upgrade but thought the dynaudio was just too much to warrant spending) Thanks.
