I've read these links and certainly don't help :-0

Anyone found any interesting solution for the rear entertainment on the Aftermarket UK or even DIY as audi have apparently made easier for customers to TAP into the headrest infotainment system. not sure what adapters estc would be required. It JUST doesn't make sense to fork out £1180 for twin Aud portable entertainment units.

As, in reality a lot of folk already have similar or better devices to use on most short use journeys on the odd occasion.

Has anyone implemented or come across a decent aftermarket headrest holders and charging unit that tap into the Audi MMI system from the seat for off the shelf tablet devices, if you get I mean ?? (without using permanent screens on the headrest itself of course)

Google Opal rear seat entertainment

Thanks buddy.. checked uncle google.. Opal rear seat seems to be throwing up links for aus..

In any case after "much ado about nothing"..

I've opted to go for the most Flexiblibilty & simplest options - Keepiting it simple - started by getting this - EC Technology 360 Degree Adjustable Rotating Headrest: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics (http://amzn.to/1U94kMn) - £10

Might go one for these < if the 1st doesn't workout
iKross Extension 360 Degrees Rotation Car Mount Tablet: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics (http://amzn.to/25XpyyV) - £19
Mudder Universal Car Headrest Mount Holder with 360 Degree Adjustable Rotation for iPad, iPad Air, iPad Mini and all 7 - 10 Inches Tablets PC: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics (http://amzn.to/1WLszjX) - £10
Okra 360° Degree Adjustable Rotating Headrest Car Seat: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics (http://amzn.to/1VUVxgb) - £7

I know the car has usb on rear seats to charge the devices, so that with a wireless HDD for movies, some bluetooth headphones and a unlimited data SIM 30GB hotspoting for £23 via three custumer loyalty, should hopefulluy complete & tick the box for rear seat entertainment experience for when they get mad in the back seats :-0

I have this one which is similar to the iKross.

ARKON TAB3-RSHM Tablet Headrest Mount: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0072LATE2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

Works really well and as the holder bit unclips, it's safe to leave attached when not in use. I tend to use with full size iPads but has smaller clips for minis.

Awesome one more on the hit list.. Is it lasting well?.. Plastic clipwise mostly?

Thanks

Only had it a month but seems pretty solid.
