hi ive fiited a turbo guage but i am now unsure that ive fitted it corredtly. hopefully the picture has been attached for anyone to point out i'm a muppet or the fact its a diesel and boost works different.
atm at idle i have -20psi!?! but when i do a boost run i get 0!!! HELP!!

That is the Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve actuator vacuum feed, not boost!

There is no factory take off point for a 3-mm hose fitting. That is not ideal hose you are using either, it will collapse when hot.

it wa sthe hose that was supplied with the gauge kit.is there any way of fitting the gauge? maybe the fuel pressure regulator feed?

What fuel pressure regulator feed, it's a PD TDI! You will have to put a fitting into the air boot or plastic pipe.

air boot??? is there anmy way you can point to that in the engine picture?

The rubber bit connected to the metal bit! Anyway, you would need to make an adapter and that just isn't practical. I am surprised no one makes an adapter kit. Maybe you will have to drill and tap into the manifold and fit a screw in connector. You could do this behind the EGR valve without removing the manifold if you stuffed a cloth in the manifold and vacuumed out the debris after.

sound slike a possibilty to try and do. i have a picture to help identify the plastic bit with the metel bit. which arrow is correct?
