Chaps,

Well it sounds like mine is close to reaching Blighty and since ordering I have noted that there are not many owners pic's out there. Yes, the standard Audi dealer pic's are a plenty but very little else.

So, how about posting some pic's up of your pride and joys, I am sure those who are considering colour/alloy dilemma's would find it very useful, I know I would of had.

Ta

Yeah. Must admit it was best for me (looks wise)
Used to have the old Q in silver but that color wasn't available and I didn't want anything dark...
Thanks

Mate of mine almost wet himself when he saw the ambient lighting package in "blue" action :D

Haha... And if you have it in audi drive select mode it changes colour based on what drive select your in.

Yes. Saw that. Although I think Audi messed this one up.
It's either white or red or orange....
None of these looks good with black leather and interior IMHO.
Blue doesn't come with any of drive select modes.
My daughter loves pink for some reason ;)

Problem is my car is arriving during the longer daylight time of spring/summer. I will have to go out at 10pm to enjoy it.

In winter though I will see that beautiful illumination all the time 😀

Haha. That is true. Don't worry, you have everything else with the car to enjoy.

Yeah I bought the prepaid EE sim I think you have. It arrived Friday. So ready with audi connect and google maps etc.

As I got the smartphone interface my plans is to have my phone wifi and connect to the car wifi automatically. Then pop the phone in the console and use andriod auto tunein app to listen to my Australian radio stations from back home that I miss. It will stream the radio via the andriod auto app but use the cars wifi hotshot. 👍at the same time I can still use Google maps on the cars navigation.

No would not listen to that rubbish. I might be 42 but I'm down with the kids lol. 2dayfm sydney, and Kiis FM sydney. But sometimes I listen to 2GB talk back radio in Sydney. It's funny though listening to morning traffic reports in Sydney when I'm on my way home at night and visa versa in the morning lol

Yup, and I have the internal SIM card in the car set as the "Data" connection in the MMI connection manager. I dont ever use my phones Data connection when in the car. I seem to get good 4G/LTE on EE

I think I get 3 years with the SIM that comes with the tech pack. Does anyone know who the provider is? I use EE for my mobile and the coverage is very good in my area so wondering how good the Audi one will be.

Audi dont provide a SIM card with the 3 year Audi Connect that comes with the Tech Pack. You get a 3 year "license" to use Audi Connect services in the Tech Pack, not an actual physical SIM Card.

I'm not sure how I made this mistake. Better order a SIM soon then! Any know how much data would be sufficient per month for average usage?

No worries, thats why we are here to help each other.

I've got a 5GB per month EE sim for £12 per month on a rolling 30 day contract but I barely hit 1/2GB tops.

I got a prepaid 6gb 4G data sim with EE. Valid for 90days. So this will give me 2gb a month more than enough. You can use an app on your phone to track what you use each month.

I got my 6gb off amazon for £13. Bargain

I too use EE for my 2x business mobiles and wanted to keep using them as they have the best coverage locally, but wasn't offered as good a deal as yours (best data only sim 4Gb @ £15+VAT/month). So I got creative on the EE business website and found an Acer Aspire switch 10 V Tablet/laptop combo with 4Gb/month data sim for £10+VAT/month on a 3yr contract!
