Mine looks like this, but looks a little unfinished, or is every ones like it? It's not covered and not sprayed

The B8s are like this too, seems normal.

I noticed that when I had one out for a test drive - looks really cheap and tacky, obviously just a money-saving exercise but it wouldn't really bother me too much TBH (I ordered an Avant anyway)

My old 3 series looked much better finished in the boot area, but you're hardly ever going to see it so not worth worrying about.

Agreed doesn't really come into view, only saw it as I was looking for any anchor points. or those little hooks to put carrier bags on. Didn't find any

The carrier bag hooks are part of the storage pack, as is an enhanced underside of the parcel shelf and other storage pockets in the cabin. Think it was £100 from memory...
