Anyone else on here interested in the new A4 allroad that was recently announced at Detroit ?

No dates have been released yet, was in at my local dealer recently and their system says details of when orders can be taken and prices should be available in "the Spring", he thought likely to be orders early summer, first cars autumn. Anyone heard anything more definite ?

Can anyone remember roughly what the cost premium of the B8 allroad was over the mechanically equivalent B8 Avant ? Are we talking approx £2k ?

Don't think I can post links yet as a new member but the following is copied from CAR Magazine as a summary of what engines will be available :

The following models are available from launch:

2.0 TFSI 249bhp, 273lb ft, 0-62mph 6.1sec, 155mph, 44.1mpg, 147g/km CO2
2.0 TDI 187bhp, 295lb ft, 0-62mph 7.8sec, 136mph, 57.7mpg, 128g/km CO2
3.0 TDI 215bhp, 295lb ft, further figures not yet available
3.0 TDI 268bhp, 442lb ft, 0-62mph 5.5sec, 155mph, 53.3mpg, 139g/km CO2

I am also waiting on release. It was 2k on old a4. Audi Uk said Spring but nothing has come, I am hoping for release early April as VW change prices and offers on 5th April for next quarter.

Stirlia - Thanks for info on B8 pricing.

Read on another forum that orders will open in late April, with prices and full specs released at same time. First deliveries in June.
