Good Afternoon All,
Apologies if I have posted this thread in the incorrect sub-forum!
My problem - long story short, the wheel bearing on the nearside wheel of my Audi A1 (12 plate) needs replacing.
The garage have quoted me £361.00 to replace the front two bearings or alternatively, £201.00 for just the nearside.
My questions are therefore:
-How easy is it to change the wheel bearings on an Audi A1? Any advice?
(I have changed the bearings on my old 04 plate fiesta and that was fairly straight forward and cost me no more than £20 for the bearing!)
-That brings me to my second question...Is the price quoted above by the garage a competitive price? This is standard off-street garage, so I expect Audi would quote more.
Any help would be much appreciated.
