I couldn't see a thread about this Audi specialist that I use in Glasgow - A For Audi. He is considerably cheaper than the Dealers (obviously) and pays particular attention to Customer Service. I have nothing but good to say about this garage. Personally with the work I have had done on my Audi I have saved a hell of a lot of money. Below is a link to his website and to a thread from this website.

A few months ago I had the timing belt changed on my A4 2.5Tdi by A4 Audi. On bringing it home there was an oil leak an oil leak that wasn't there prior to having the belt changed. Finally it has been fixed. Despite several weeks and hours of taking up space in his garage, several new parts being used and discarded the reason for the leak was finally found and resolved. I wasn't charged at all and they even bought my wife flowers for the inconvenience it caused her whilst I was away. My point is, where would you get that kind of service nowadays?? Probably nowhere. In fact I am sure anywhere else would have fobbed you off and charged you for it. His customer service is second to none and whilst my loyalty to A4 Audi was never in question it has only served to cement my commitment to taking my cars nowhere else.

Hello New member here from Glasgow. I after several very unsatisfactory experiences with Glasgow Audi at Hillington, I decided to choose A for Audi to do my belt change and water pump replacement. I had my Air Conditioning done at the same time as he seemed to be so professional and honest.

I must say I was not dis-appointed. They picked up my car, kept me informed and dropped it back off to me. No problems and nice folks to deal with. A total contrast to the take it or leave it attitude of the main Audi dealer.

As compared to my price research he was very reasonable and for sure way cheaper than Audi at Hillington.

He also fixed the internal alarm disable switch that was not working since Audi did a strip down for £6000 accident repair to my car (not my fault). Audi refused to fix it as they said they were not responsible, this despite there being several electrical switches also not working that they themselves had traced to simply not being put back together again properly by their guys. Anyways A for Audi fixed it for free as it was yet another switch not correctly re-installed and was simple to do.

Sadly I have to deal with Audi at Hillington to get my instrument cluster replaced free by Audi UK, I will let yopu know my experience as it progresses.

Ditch Audi at hillington cos they are overpriced and very poor customer service, especially when things go wrong, they just turn nasty on you.

Has anyone else found this?

Definitely use Andy and his A for Audi garage. He'll do the job, doesn't charge the earth and knows what he's doing. I just had my A4 serviced and the timing belt done. Friendly, helpful, on time. Definitely a garage that gives you 'service'. 10/10 :approve::approve::approve:
