This is for all of us, I have found that line electricians use a heat shrink plastic sleeve that has an adhesive lining, I use 18mm sleeve, fit a piece over the end of the hose before fitting it to the caliper, once everything is tight, slide the sleeve down over the end of the hose including the nut and VERY gently heat the sleeve till the glue appears on the ends and a tight fit is achieved, I have found after almost 10,000 miles that when the sleeve is removed, it will need a stanley blade, the metal is still perfect. This also helps support the hose where it enters the crimp and nut
