Solid flywheel driving stile

Hi. Just recently I instaled solid flywheel in my 2.0 tdi . engine. And I took a longer road where I have to drive 60 to 70 mph. Noticed that between 2000 rep till 2100 rep engine is pretty loud. That's when I acelirating. So to avoid that I reduced the gear to keep it eather over or lover this reps. Is that normal? Maybe I need to do same driving stile agustments. Any advice?

thats what happens when you use a solid flywheel in an engine / gearbox combo designed for a dmf.

not really, deviate from standard at your peril. some gearboxes really don't like it and will self destruct. you don't say what car its in. ?
