how much did you pay if you dont mind me asking mate? was yours a 99 se 115bhp too?

I reallllllly like the leather and would defiantely be prepared to pay a few hundred more for one with leather :)

I am not too familiar with the prices of audi's as i am coming over from a honda..

are you sure its a 115, mine registered may 1999 (T) and has an AFN 110bhp engine. The 115 is the later PD engine and I've mainly seen W/X reg cars with those engines in. Check the sticker in the boot for engine code.

I paid £2950... it was very cheep at the time;)

You are right mate, i think it must be the 110bhp. I had one before.. it was a 1997 Se with 200 000 miles on it- i got £1800 for her.

I presume £3000 quite a good price for this car then, just wanted to check it wasnt a rip off! I know to some people £3000 may be alot for a car with 120 000 miles, but for a well looked after 1.9 tdi engine its nothing, right?

It depends on how you value a car really, sub £3000 cars are plentiful, but if it a good one then the mileage is irrelevant,

My car just had £400 spent on new disks and other work when I bought it, so i thought it was a good price. If the car has had the timing belt done etc and the history good, its worth a few extra pounds ;).

I've done 14k in mine and it been great now done 140k and driving well.:beerchug:
