Hi just wondering if anyone have any info regarding supermarket diesel being bad for the car ! It's over 10p cheaper per litre!

It'll come from the same refinery as the premium brands, maybe with a few less additives.
You do hear stories about supermarket fuel, but most are unfounded.

I did my own observation about this:

For me (well, my car and where I live), BP Ultimate and maybe Shell V Power if there's a station nearby.
My calculation showed that I get 4MPG more for paying just over £2.00 per fill up.

Bear in mind that different engine may respond differently to different fuel and there are so many other factors to consider (e.g. the environment, road condition, traffic, driving behaviour, condition of the car, and many many more etc.). One of the most important factors that's nearly impossible to demonstrate is the long-term effect of supermarket vs premium diesel. We will never find that out.

So, fill up whatever you think is better for your car?.
Why don't you try it yourself and observe what happens with your car?
