Hi all
Hopefully buying my first audi (and first vw ag car)
After many years of spending around £1000 on a car every year to 18 months I have finally got the money to purchase a decent motor.
Looking at an audi a4 tdi b8 tomorrow.
Before my daughter was born I had a BMW e36 coupe for 6 trouble free motoring.
Little one came along and the bmw was sold and the money put towards paying some bills and a practical car.
In the years that have passed we have had
Laguna dci estate which snapped a gear box mount of the gear box and blew it's intercooler.
Mondeo tdci ghia x estate which did it's dmf then 4 months later blew it's fuel pump taking out its injectors at the same time.
Cougar v6 as a stop gap
Laguna 1.8 saloon had it for 2 years until it snapped a aux belt taking out the timing belt caused buy a seized pully.
Vauxhall vectra 1.8 had it 18 months ecu went kaput causing random misfire.
Currently have a hyundai santa fe crdi that needs the rear bushes replacing and the clutch is slipping so will need the dmf doing at the same time.
Booked it in for a check up /pre mot and it needs more spending on it than its worth.
Well that's me and my story lol
