Car is a Scirocco 58plate- pre what ever build date they changed everything. Basically my car was build then 6months later they changed everything :P
I have an RNS510 and looking to add bluetooth. Looking at VW modules it appears I only have two options. One with A2DP and one without, and both of those gives further with or without options. My understanding is due to being RNS510 and with the red dot MFD phone books etc appear on the touch screen. Is this true?
I know my wants are:
Make/receive phone calls
Access phone book via car
Play music through car
Be compatable with as many phone types as possible, I currently have an LG G3
Basically to cut a long story short and a lot of waffling what is the best module to go for? I don't mind from an other VAG brand, as long as it won't make my screen skoda green :P I may even go for a third party as long as it looks genuine on both the MFD and RNS screens.
